Where are they now?

On this page we'll publish occasional updates about former Bigfoot Go-Ride and Bigfoot Youth members.

Where are they now? William and Emma Carroll

A few months ago the Carroll family moved to America, as dad (Joey, one of our coaches) now has a job over there. They are settling in well, William and Emma managed to avoid starting school until November. Now both are at school – enjoying school and making friends. They have all been working hard to settle in to there new home, but have been exploring too. We of course miss them all, and they miss us – they still see what we are up to via our website and are following our club’s successes at the race league. They will be exploring more cycling trails near their house and we wish them well.

Where are they now? - Nathan Alexander

Earlier this year the Alexander family moved to France for a bit of the ‘good life’ and we are pleased to say all is going well. Their permanent house is nearly ready to move into. Nathan is thriving, is already almost fluent in French and has made new friends. He continues to enjoy cycling and is a member of a local cycling club. His training includes weekly 30 mile rides and he races most weekends. The racing standards are very high, his best place is 14th so far. You can see a picture of him above, with AG2R professional rider Francois Bidard who recently visited his club. The French are lovely and welcoming and we wish them well for the future.
