Bigfoot Go-Ride is holding its Annual General Meeting on
Saturday 24 March 2018, and as always we'd welcome as many parents, children and volunteers as possible to come along, have your say, and vote on the important matters raised.

This year we have a special treat lined up: after the AGM (which we'll be keeping as brief as possible!) it's ROLLAPALUZA time!!

For those of you that haven't heard of it, Rollapaluza involves head-to-head short, timed races on stationary bikes, to a soundtrack of high-tempo rock and pop music.

Everyone is welcome to take part - adults and children alike. Riders are given a brief coaching session as their feet are strapped into the pedals of the stationary track bikes. The starter then counts down the seconds until they start pedalling: three, two, one... Go!

All race data is recorded on a computer, and during the event the information is updated live for easy viewing of each rider's time and average speed. Find out more at

We'll be giving out prizes in various categories for those who top the leaderboards. And if you don't win a prize, don't despair as we'll also be giving out drinks, snacks and free pizza!

Even if you can't come along for the AGM itself (which starts at 5:30pm), you're still very welcome to come along and have a go at Rollapaluza at any time between 6:30 and 9:30pm. Come along for half an hour or stay all evening, it's up to you!

The Annual General Meeting

Okay so we admit that the offer of Rollapaluza and free pizza is a transparent attempt to get more people to come along to the AGM, but if you can spare the time it's well worth attending.

The agenda will include a review of the year, and a chance to have your say on how the club is run. We'll also be electing officers to key committee posts and other roles - including a new Chair as Spencer steps down after many years of amazing service since day one of Bigfoot Go-Ride.

Using the links below you can download an agenda for the meeting, minutes of last year's meeting, and a nomination form for committee posts and other roles. There is also a proposed minor amendment to the constitution. Any nominations should be sent to

The AGM is being held at Hayes Village Hall (opposite Panagua bike shop), starting at 5:30pm.

Who can attend and vote?

  • Each of our child and young adult (under 18) club members, accompanied by their parent, carer or guardian (Their parent, carer or guardian is to vote on their behalf, and may of course attend without their child!)

  • Any active adult volunteer with the club (in any capacity)

If you are both an active adult volunteer and have children at the club – you may vote once for each child and once as an active adult volunteer (but you'll need to complete the form below twice).
