A summer full of Family Rides!

Adam's been busy, and so we've got lots of Family Rides to keep you all busy now the summer term is here.

First up is a Family Ride this Saturday 25th May – The Bigfoot Big Dinosaur Bike Ride; going to see the Dinosaurs in Crystal Palace Park – full details can be found at

But that's just the start - there's loads more! All the details of the following rides are also at  Family Rides are suitable for adults, young people, families with children – in fact anyone who fancies a nice easy ride. Most of these rides have easy options and longer options.

Sunday 16th June – The Tour de Penge – join hundreds of cyclists on cycle tracks and quiet roads from Penge to the River Thames and the Cutty Sark; and back. Please note the start point of this ride has changed, all of which is now contained in our details.

Sunday 23rd June – The Viking Trail – a ride alongside the seaside and through the countryside – starting in Birchington, there is a Viking long boat to be seen too!

Sunday 7th July – IN FRANCE! – a ride mainly on quiet French country roads, saying hello to the seaside too. Only a 40 mile ride option, suited to those who have ridden to Brighton this year. In order to control numbers this ride is not open to adults without children, except for adult volunteers from the Bigfoot to Brighton series and from Bigfoot Youth CC.

Sunday 21st July – The Deer Run – a ride on quiet roads and mainly cycle paths in Richmond Park.

Saturday 3rd August – The Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle – your chance to ride with thousands of cyclists through the streets of Central London – all the roads being closed to traffic.
