Bigfoot to Brighton 2018

posted 16 Jan 2018, 10:41 by Phil Shemmings   [ updated 16 Jan 2018, 10:52 ]
Bigfoot to Brighton is a series of group rides, culminating in a ride from Hayes to Brighton at the same time as the adult Bigfoot Cycle Club's annual ride in May. It's a great challenge and we have had riders as young as 9 years complete the ride to Brighton.

Adam from Bigfoot Go-Ride is once again running a series of rides this Spring for our more able young riders and their parents, friends and family. It's a chance to see just how far you can ride. 15 miles? 20 miles? ....... or all the way to Brighton?

These rides were a huge success last year with lots joining in the training rides and about 60 young riders and 90 adults making it all the way to Brighton!

The rides are in supportive and friendly groups, lead by experienced cyclists. All rides are on roads, mainly quieter roads.

So why not have a go this year? For more details download the PDF information sheet.

If you have any questions email Adam at adam@bigfootcc.co.uk or ring him if you want a chat (020 8249 3028 and 07887 780542).

If you plan to take part in one or more of the rides you need to click on the link below. Please ensure all adults and children planning to ride are registered. Then just turn up and ride! On the day we will work out the best group for you to ride in.

This year’s Bigfoot to Brighton series of rides will not include longer options for our most able Youth riders, but longer challenge rides of 65, 75 and 100 miles are being planned for later this year.
