We are writing to keep you updated about Bigfoot Youth activities in the light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

As a community organisation we have an obligation to the health of our members, our volunteers and their families. We are affiliated to British Cycling and we will be following its advice.

British Cycling today announced that it has extended its suspension all of its sanctioned cycling activities until 30 June.

British Cycling's recommendation to all clubs is that no organised activity (including rides, training, coaching, events) should take place during this period, in line with government advice on social gatherings and non-essential travel.

Full details can be found on the British Cycling website.

As a result we are extending our suspension of all club activities until 30 June in line with British Cycling's decision.

According to British Cycling: "With all Government guidance pointing towards a period during which the nation is being urged to come together to fight the spread of the virus, and the unprecedented burden currently on our emergency and public services, we felt that this is the most responsible – and only – course of action we could take at this moment."

We will continue to provide updates as this unprecedented ongoing situation develops.
